Lawson: “It was an absolute thrill to watch these young women achieve their dream of becoming world champions. . . something I’ll never forget. I was impressed with their intelligence and attention to detail, as we had to beat teams that played different styles. We had to implement different game plans sometimes in a span of less than an hour and my players went out and executed. With 3×3 being officially named an Olympic Sport last month, it made this World Championship that much more exciting and competitive. It’s a sport that is growing around the world and I’m excited to be a part of it!”
