ESPN NBA colleagues help Ryan Ruocco celebrate his 30th birthday

Ryan Ruocco, flanked on his right by analyst Mark Jackson, celebrated his 30th birthday calling the Kings versus Clippers game Nov. 18. Last Friday in Sacramento, play-by-play commentator Ryan Ruocco celebrated his 30th birthday courtside of his coverage of the Kings-Los Angeles Clippers game on ESPN. His ESPN NBA production colleagues were not going to allow the milestone pass without some good-natured ribbing - and even a birthday cake. As Ruocco noted on Instagram (see third panel) in thanking his colleagues, ESPN's NBA production team pulled out all the stops. Baby pictures were part of the celebration. Analyst Mark Jackson praised Ruocco, a Fordham alum, during the telecast (see video below). Jackson and Ruocco take a break during coverage of the Clippers' victory over the Kings.
