ESPN at the Hearstlive unveiling in NYC

NEW YORK - On Tuesday night, the Hearst Corporation -- which owns a 20 percent stake in ESPN -- hosted a street party. The event celebrated the 10th anniversary of the iconic Hearst Tower (57th Street and Eighth Ave.) and officially unveiled the company's new Hearstlive streaming multimedia news installation. Located at street level of the Hearst Tower, Hearstlive features giant LED video walls that feature continuously updated content from Hearst's more than 360 brands and partners, including cable networks, television stations and daily newspapers, more than 300 magazines from around the world, digital and video companies, and more. A quarter of a million people walk by this intersection each day in Manhattan, and this innovative new multimedia platform will feature select ESPN content. ESPN's Josina Anderson, Molly Qerim and Hannah Storm (featured in the video above) were among the special VIP guests who were part of the launch event. Others included Ginger Zee of ABC's Good Morning America, journalist Soledad O'Brien, TV personality Dr. Oz, and co-hosts Carla Hall and Daphne Oz of The Chew. There was also a special performance by famed tap dancer Savion Glover as the Hearstlive screens lit up for the first time.
