ESPN at INTX

This yearâ€™s Internet & Television Expo (INTX) was held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center earlier this week. Presented by the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, this annual event attracts distributors and programmers to share innovative ideas, showcase content creation and bring together a diverse group of participants from all over the world. On Wednesday, two employees were recognized for their leadership and achievements in the industry. Oscar Ramos, General Manager of ESPN Deportes Radio and Senior Director, ESPN Deportes Content, was one of the honorees of the Luminary Award at the annual National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Breakfast. SC Featured was also recognized with a Vision Award for Reality programming by NAMIC. Additionally, Justin Connolly, Executive Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, was honored with the NCTAâ€™s prestigious Vanguard Award for Young Leadership. ESPN's SVP of Digital Product Design and Audience Development, Ryan Spoon, speaks on the "Air Power: Strategies & Sensibilities of the New Mobile Video Marketplace" panel. SVP Affiliate Partnership Development & Operations, Disney & ESPN Networks, Lori Lebas, introduces the first-ever TED session: "Disruption: A TED Session presented by INTX" which was sponsored in part by ESPN. WICT Signature Luncheon: Disney/ABC Television Group was one of the honorees for Best Programmers for Women in Cable.
