Earth Day part of ESPN’s continuous commitment to being green

ESPN Health and Wellness coordinator Jonathan Fortier holds the free ESPN yoga mats distributed to students in classes at North or Main Campus Wellness Centers the week of April 20. ESPN regularly demonstrates its commitment to sustainability, particularly today - Earth Day - and throughout April or Earth Month. At ESPN offices from coast to coast, employees participate in electronics recycling/document shredding and clean up service days. They even take yoga classes on mats consisting of recycled material. This photo gallery illustrates a few examples of ESPN's Bristol, Conn. campus employees "being green." The Wellness Center also features an organic whole fruit bowl every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the month. ESPN Digital anchor Antonietta "Toni" Collins enjoyed a regular coffee with a shot of expresso in her reusable Starbucks-style ceramic mug. Only organic milk was used today at the Bristol Campus Starbucks locations, as well as organic ingredients in every entrÃ©e all month at Seasons CafÃ©. This week, ESPN employees once again will participate in an annual company recycling initiative.
