Inside the 18th hole announce booth for ESPN’s Open Championship coverage

HOYLAKE, ENGLAND â€“ ESPN is airing four-day coverage of golfâ€™s oldest major, The Open Championship, from Royal Liverpool. Telecasts continue Friday and Saturday and end with the final round on Sunday. ESPNâ€™s anchor Mike Tirico and lead analyst Paul Azinger are working from an announce booth installed on a temporary but sturdy scaffolding structure above the grandstands at the 18th hole. Behind the scenes are a researcher, stage manager, camera operators and other crew members who help make things work smoothly.
